Day Out In Bearstone Fruit Farm - Market Drayton 2020

It's the time of the year in UK for the strawberries. So we decided to visit the local fruit farm last week, which was a good decision.

There is no entry fee, you simply pick your fruits and the pay for the weight you have picked. From the stall next to the car park you can get free containers/ baskets to collect the fruits.

There were loads of strawberries ready to pick. Vibrant, Elegance, Cupid and Symphony are the strawberry varieties they had in the farm. Out of them Cupid strawberry variety seems to be more sweeter than others. Following are some clicks I took while picking strawberries.

Following is a small video clip I made while I was there,

The cost for the strawberries were very cheap, comparing to the supermarket prices. Also Bearstone Fruit Farm have card payment facility, so it's very convenient.

Bearstone Fruit Farm also have Raspberries, Tayberries, Blackcurrants, Blackberries but on the day we visit they had only strawberries & gooseberries only. Might visit them again in few weeks time for the Raspberries.

Please visit Bearstone Fruit Farm web site http://www.bearstonefruitfarm.co.uk/ for more details.

Enjoy!

In England, with the Corona virus lockdown relaxes, we decided to go for a hike in Peak District last weekend. After doing some research, came across the Mam Tor circular walk.

We started the journey on a Sunday morning and after 1 hour drive from home, we came to the Mam Tor National Trust Car Park. Here you can park the vehicle safely and pay for it though "pay by phone" app, which was very easy and convenient.
